Sigur Ros is known for their bizarre songs, heavy with strings, and at times singing in a made up language. However, Sigur Ros is no Avant Garde band, but one that should,, and does appeal to the masses. Their hit, "The Nothing Song" was featured in an episode of Queer as Folk.
