About Rush
Though the artistic growth of Rush followed more or less along the lines of their basic rock style, their growing reliance on synthesizers during the 80s, as well as other changes in the instruments they used in recordings, have kept their fan base in check. Longevity and instrumental proficiency have not been enough to grant Rush a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame yet, perhaps for this anachronistic change in style following greater musical fashions.
