The mix of nostalgic and contemporary, even futuristic themes in Roxy Music was coupled with their album art cover. Several of their album covers, namely the debut Roxy Music, Stranded and Country Life, were designed in the style of fashion magazines, mixing high and low, art and kitsch in their sophisticated way.
