About Rancid
It is no coincidence that Rancid make references to Joe strummer in their music, as the Rancid sound is often compared to that of the Clash, the great English punk band. The 2003 album Indestructible features a song by the same name that goes thus: I'm dancing now to a whole different drummer / And I'll keep listening to the great Joe Strummer.
