The name Procol Harum of the band that was active between 1967 and 1977, and then again from 1991 onward, mans beyond these things in Latin, but in essence is the name of the band's lyricist's cat. In fact, the name is not spelled correctly and many have written it since not as Procol Harum but Procul Harum.
