About Nat King Cole
American singer, songwriter and jazz pianist Nat King Cole was accused somewhat for selling out, as his jazz music was turned into pop-oriented, mainstream audience-directed hits. This is not entirely true, though. Nat King Cole did not abandon his jazz roots, and has released additional material in the genre even at the height of his pop career, well into the 50s and later too.
