About My Bloody Valentine
Irish-British rockers My Bloody Valentine were of the founders of the shoegazing movement. While Manchester's Madchester bands were jumping on (and off) the stage, My Bloody Valentine would stand on stage at live shows, hardly even looking at the crowd that came to hear their music. Focused on the music, aloof and dreamy, My Bloody Valentine nevertheless stayed away from art-rock and closer to pop.
