About Moby
New York-born electronic music DJ and producer Moby has on one hand brought a face to techno music and helped popularize it, but on the other hand was changing core elements of the style by sampling new material from gospel and folk music, for example, thus leveling the techno sound to resemble too much other musical genres. Is Moby guilty or should he be complimented for what he has done?
