About Kyuss
Kyuss released their most important album in 1992, Blues for the Red Sun. Not only did the ultimate sound of the band finally come together in this LP, it was also their greatest critical and commercial success, gaining the band a new contract with Elektra Records. The next album, 1994's Welcome to Sky Valley continued the sound and style perfected in the predecessor, but the band members did not get along well after that and Kyuss did not last as a band past 1995.
