Operating under various names first, among them Katzenjammer, the stoner rock band from Palm Desert, California released four albums under the name Kyuss. Their influence is not restricted to these recordings, but to the later contributions band members had after disbanding Kyuss and joining various rock bands, among them Queens of the Stone Age and Fu Manchu.
