Florian Schneider and Ralf Hutter, the core members of Kraftwerk, met when studying classical music. Little did anyone expect the music of Kraftwerk to come out of this meeting, a minimal electronic beat that would throw the music world in a flurry, which upon settling would create dance, techno, minimalist punk and hip hop.
