About Kelis
Kelis grew up singing with the church choir and playing several musical instruments. She had left home at 16, but continued seriously pursuing a music career and education. Early on, Kelis collaborated closely with the Neptunes, the talented and well-connected production duo. Kelis herself moved on to work with many top-tier musicians, among them Busta Rhymes, OutKast, Moby, Björk and Nas, whom she also married.
