About Joy Division
Late 70s punk pioneers Joy Division are said to have left little in the sense of recordings, but a tremendous impact on the rock music and electronic fusions that followed in the 80s and since. With only two albums recorded, Joy Division has had few hits – Love Will Tear Us Apart, Transmission and Atmosphere among them. The songs express the dark inner world of Ian Curtis as much as it does the inventive and creative abilities of the band as a whole.
