By the young age of 12, Jadakiss was already a freestyler and a rapper, rapping for fun and participating in competitions, including taking on Jack the Rapper. This is when the Ruff Ryders noticed the young rapper and had Jadakiss hang out around their studio, where artists such as DMX would record.
