About Hole
Hole, the LA-based band fronted by Courtney Love, played grunge and alternative rock music between 1989 and 2002, the year it finally disbanded, after several lineup changes. Three official LPs were released by Hole over the years, each different in style, largely defined as alternative pop and grunge. Hole has, however, progressed from a raw, almost punk attitude to a more pop sound, although bridging the two extremes is its ultimate achievement.
