About Green Day
The first major label debut Green Day released was their hit album, Dookie. Due to the MTV support of the initial single, the album became a massive hit, and it continued to gain momentum with the release of the second single, Basket Case. In addition, in 1994, Green Day stole the show at Woodstock and mthis also helped prepoel the sales of Dookie.
