About Franz Ferdinand
From Glasgow to the top of the UK charts, Franz Ferdinand have appeared on the scene in 2001 and released two albums thus far, both greatly successful. Named after the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the four Scottish musicians have adopted an artsy-style, quoting from many references of the twentieth century and creating music that is entirely here and now.
