About Fall Out Boy
The way an Emo band needs to follow these days is exemplified by Fall Out Boy, who were formed in Illinois in 2001, release a split EP with another Emocore group (Project Rocket), built a following by playing gigs in the area and over the Web. Following these steps and two full length albums, Fall Out Boy would go on to sing with Island Records and receive mainstream recognition.
