About Evanescence
Evanescence were first labeled as a Christian Rock music group. Although in early statements the band members confessed their support of the religion, their record label later released a request to remove Evanescence from Christian rock music store shelves. This raised some controversy, but has not hurt the strong sales of Evanescence albums across the boards.
