About Die Arzte
After Soilent Grun broke up in 1982, Bela and Farin decided to form another band to play fun songs, in contrast to the mostly political bands of the punk scene at that time. While coming from that punk scene, their early music was heavily influenced by pop and rock'n'roll, especially The Beatles, whom Farin heard a lot as a child from his mother playing their records.
