About David Coverdale
David Coverdale is best known for doing vocals in the legendary rock band Deep Purple. He was considered for the vocalist position with Black Sabbath following the departure of Ronnie James Dio. Coverdale declined, and Sabbath hired Ian Gillan. He is also known for his own band called Whitesnake. He is most famous for his work with the English hard rock band Deep Purple, and his later band Whitesnake.
