Hardcore rapper DMX is about to release his seventh studio album in 2007. All of the previous albums went platinum, establishing DMX (who himself appears on the album covers, unless there is a dog on the cover, a favorite obsession of the rapper's) as the leading figure in post-Tupac era hardcore rap.
