About Common
Common is a much respected rap and hip hop artist and singer that originally comes from Chicago, Illinois. In 1992 Common released his debut album - "Can I Borrow a Dollar?". Although mainstream success proved short in coming, he established a solid fan base within Chicago's underground rap scene, and gained some attention for his witty lyrics and unique style.
