About Cocteau Twins
Cocteau Twins formed in Scotland in 1979 and started recording together, after settling on their lineup, in 1982. Garlands, their debut album presented the Cocteau Twins to the world with the dreamy and detached vocals of Elizabeth Fraser, who would sing with an operatic voice and abstract lyrics, or using only verbal sounds.
