In 2004 Chimaira released the DVD collection The Dehumanization Process. In 2005, they unleashed their third album, Chimaira. The album was reissued early the next year with bonus material attached. By fall 2006, Chimaira had moved on from Roadrunner, signing with Ferret, and the guys began work on their next record.
