Boston was comprised of first and foremost Tom Scholtz, founder of the band and guitarist, vocalist Brad Delp, bassist Fran Sheehan, drummer John 'Sib' Hashian and guitarist Barry Goudreau. Together they released "Boston," what be would be the best selling debut album in history until supplanted by Whitney Houston's debut album.
