Bjork and her music, recorded and performed since the mid 80s, is likely the best ambassador Iceland could have ever wished for. Like the country she is from, Bjork lies on the fringes of the music scene and the film industry, in which she has appeared several times on such films as Lars von Trier's Dancer in the Dark.
