The story behind White Wedding, the most successful and recognizable song perhaps of Billy Idol's career, is that it was actually a nasty put down by Billy Idol, in a way accusing his sister of thinking a wedding was only a way to get pregnant. Billy Idol would later refute this as mere rumor later in a VH1 Storytellers concert.
