About Belle and Sebastian
The first album released by Belle and Sebastian was called Tigermilk, and was released as part of a school project due for a course taken by the band's leader, Stuart Murdoch in college. Only 1,000 copies were pressed in vinyl, to much surprise, the album became a success, and people all over were clamoring for it. Already the first Belle and Sebastian album was a collector's item, selling for 75 pounds a copy.
