Born in the heart of the Delta, B.B. King was influenced indelibly by country and gospel music which he would hear in the church in which he sang. Not only that, but B.B. King also listened to the great jazz musicians such as T-Bone Walker and Lonnie Johnson and jazz geniuses Charlie Christian and Django Reinhardt.
