Cleveland's own Myron Avant, who goes by Avant, has reached out from the ghetto with his soul music and become a multi-platinum R&B artist. My Thoughts from 2002 featured the hit single Separated. The next album, Ecstasy, two years later in 2002, has already reached the sixth spot on the albums chart and had every R&B music fan know the name Avant, and likely own an album of his too.
