2 Unlimited were originally supposed to be a solo project with Dutch rapper Ray Slijngaard fronting the music. When producers Phil Wilde and Jean-Paul DeCoster decided vocals were needed, Anita Doth joined and the rest is history. Number one hits such as No Limit and The Real Thing paved the way for 2 Unlimited record sales of 18 million copies and their place of honor in Euro-dance history.
