One of the first acid rock bands to make an appearance during the mid sixties; the 13th Floor Elevators feature the strange and at times demented lyrics of Roky Erikson and Tommy Hall's strange jug percussion. While they had only one hit, their work continues to be revered among psychedelic collectors.
