Step by step instructions
The goal is to place tones or pics in your personal My Downloads section on Funtonia and then download them into your phone.
PLACING TONES IN MY DOWNLOADS:
First, log into Funtonia.com from your PC and browse or search our collection of tones for the music you want.
You can preview the tones by clicking on the LISTEN link. If you want to download a tone into your mobile phone, click DOWNLOAD. This will automatically place the tone in My Downloads. You will receive a text message with the Web address for the tone.
DOWNLOADING TONES AND GRAPHICS INTO YOUR PHONE:
The best way to move a tone from My Downloads to your phone is through WAP.
Set a bookmark in your phone's browser for http://wap.funtonia.com or type the address in the URL bar.
Enter your mobile number in the login box at wap.funtonia.com. You will be taken directly to My Downloads.
Using your mobile keypad, click the file for instant downloading. You must have WAP to download directly from My Downloads. If you have trouble using WAP to reach Funtonia.com, try finding a solution here:

If you don't have WAP, you may also be able to download your tone using SMS instant messaging. You'll receive a text message when you move a ringtone into My Downloads.
Open the text message and use your mobile options button to jump, go to or link to the address in the text message. Your tone will automatically download into your phone.
WAP HOW TO:
On your mobile set a bookmark in your phone's browser for http://wap.funtonia.com. If you don't want to make a bookmark you can just type in the address in your phone's browser.
Once you arrive at wap.funtonia.com you will have to enter your mobile number in the login box which will take you directly to My Downloads. You will see all your tones and graphics in My Downloads. Using your mobile keypad simple click onto the file you want and it will be download into your phone.
PROBLEMS:
The main causes of errors or failure to download are:
1. Poor signal strength or mobile reception in your area.
2. File (tune or image) size too large
3. Corrupt file (tune or image)
4. Incompatible phone or service
5. Sprint Users - cannot download GIF images - need to rename using BMP file extension
